Iris Lapsley, MSW LCSW
Why I became a therapist
I became a therapist because I love facilitating the journey of those who want to reach their goals. I believe that the answers to what each person hopes for is within them. I get the pleasure of helping people identify and achieve their hopes/dreams/goals!
Background & Experience
I am parent, daughter, sister, mentor, friend... just to name a few of my roles in this life. I enjoy painting, playing Words with Friends, learning, and having amazing discussions. I am originally from Ohio and currently reside in Philadelphia. I spent 23 years in Corporate America before going back to school and becoming a social worker. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families who are seeking help with adjusting to life's transitions, building self-esteem, creating healthy relationships, or have issues with conflict resolution, anxiety, and depression.
